Piotr Koszczyński was born in Warsaw, Poland. He traveled a lot and has resided to Germany, Portugal and Nigeria... Next he returned to Poland and has finished photography college. Piotr Koszczynski worked as a press photographer for several Polish national daily newspapers and weekly magazines. His photos were published in "Gazeta Wyborcza" (the biggest selling newspaper in Poland), "Wprost" (one of most popular weeklies), "Newsweek"....

He currently freelances and has undertaken assignments for "National Geographic", "EK Pictures" agency - the branch of agency "Magnum" in Poland and foreign magazine publishers.

Piotr does not stage any moments he captures in his images. No one poses for his photographs nor does he use any arrangement. He does not process his images digitally. He attaches great importance to maintaining honesty in photography. Chromes are full-frames (without any cropping) - scanned and presented with perforation.

He dose not participate at any competitions and his workes are publihed on newspapers, exhibitions and www.snaps.pl, the pages of the streetphoto.

Piotr is a great fan of photographers Richard Kalvar, Elliott Erwitt, Alex Webb, Alan Harvey and Michał Macioszczyk.
